Clipping
Clipping off some or all of your horses winter coat prevents them from getting too warm or sweaty whilst exercising.
Depending on your horses workload, will depend on how much you decide to clip off.
Clipping can make it easier to keep your horse cleaner in the winter months. Some heavier types may require clipping all year round.
FULL CLIP £55
All the hair is removed from the horses body including legs, head and ears. This ensures the horse dries quickly after strenuous work.
HUNTER CLIP £45
All the hair is removed, except for the legs to protect from the wet and mud, and a saddle patch protect the saddle area.
BLANKET CLIP £35
Hair is left on the horses legs and the area where an exercise sheet would go.
CHASER CLIP £35
This is similar to the blanket clip, but hair is left over the neck to keep the neck muscles warm.
TRACE CLIP £35
Similar to the chaser, but this is much lower. Only hair half way up the belly and neck is removed.
IRISH CLIP £30
Hair is removed from in front of the stifle, under the belly and under the neck.
BIB CLIP £25
Hair is removed from the underside of the neck and chest, and to behind the girth if required.
